Feature

Build the plan once, assign it as often as it fits

A plan is days, exercises, and the detail that makes them unambiguous. Write that down properly one time and the next client who needs it costs you a minute, not an evening.

Why the plan belongs in one place

A plan split between a document, a message, and a correction you sent afterwards is three plans, and only one of them is right.

  • Ordered by dayEach training day carries its own exercises, and rest days sit in the schedule rather than being implied.
  • Detail travels with the exerciseThe instruction sits inside the exercise it belongs to, so it does not get separated from it.
  • One version, not threeEditing the plan changes the plan. There is no second copy still carrying last month's numbers.

The three things you do to a plan

Every plan you own moves through the same three stages.

Build

  • Lay out the daysArrange training days and rest days into the shape of a week or a block.
  • Add the exercisesEach day carries its exercises in the order you want them performed.
  • Attach the detailThe instruction that makes an exercise unambiguous goes inside the exercise.

The plan is where the progress data comes from

Completion is recorded against the plan, which is what makes the progress page readable later. Write the plan loosely and the record is loose too.

Questions about the plan builder

Can one plan go to more than one client?

Yes. That is the point of building it properly. A plan is not locked to the person you first wrote it for, and assigning it again costs you nothing.

If I edit a plan, what happens to the client already on it?

The plan is the reference, so a change to it is a change to what they are working from. Exactly how the published build handles versioning is worth asking us about before you rely on it.

How are rest days handled?

They sit in the schedule as you arranged them, rather than being left as a gap the client has to interpret.

Can a client have a nutrition plan at the same time?

Yes. Nutrition plans are built and assigned the same way and run alongside the training plan.
